Blue cornflower and thistle
This wedding was very dignified and romantic. The idea for the design was born out of the combination of two flowers: a thistle, the national symbol of Scotland, and a blue corn flower, the traditional flower of the Estonian meadows. I bet you would agree that it is a pretty unusual coupling for a wedding decor. We made the floral displays in the meadowy style to emphasise the flavour of the Estonian summer. There was an incredibly moving ceremony in a tiny church and an elegant dinner at the Sagadi Manor. Silver candelabras decorating the tables made the dinner more exquisite and a flowerbed on the chandelier amazed everyone. After the dinner there was a surprise performance by Birit Õigemeel and Mikk Saar. A wonderful warm evening invited the guests to enjoy their cocktails out on the terrace. Heartfelt speeches, a gorgeous bride, merry dancing and loads of candles were indispensable elements of that great wedding.
